For many people, getting the care they need can mean navigating multiple providers, locations, and systems. CREOKS Health Services is working to make that process easier with the opening of its new CREOKS Behavioral Health Center in Broken Arrow.
Located at 2500 E. Hillside Dr., the new center brings behavioral health, physical healthcare, crisis services, and social supports together in one location, creating a more connected approach to whole-person care.
The community celebrated the new center during an Open House on July 28, where community members, local leaders, and partners had the opportunity to tour the facility, meet the CREOKS team, and learn more about the services coming to the Broken Arrow community.
Bringing More Services Under One Roof
The new center is designed around a simple idea: better health care happens when the whole person is considered.
CREOKS will initially launch outpatient behavioral health services, with additional programs being introduced through a phased rollout. Once fully operational, the center will offer:
- Outpatient Behavioral Health Care: Personalized mental health treatment and counseling for individuals and families.
- Urgent Recovery Center and Crisis Stabilization Unit: Walk-in access to immediate mental health support for children and adults.
- Social Support Programs: Resources that help address the everyday challenges that can make it harder to access and maintain care.
- Integrated Primary Healthcare and Pharmacy Services: Medical and pharmaceutical services designed to work alongside behavioral healthcare.
By bringing these services together, CREOKS aims to reduce barriers and make it easier for people to access the right care when they need it.
“The opening of the CREOKS Behavioral Health Center represents a major milestone in our mission to make comprehensive care accessible to everyone in Broken Arrow and the surrounding region,” said Brent Black, CREOKS CEO.
Black also emphasized the importance of bringing behavioral health, physical medicine, and crisis stabilization together in one location, helping community members receive timely and compassionate care.
Care For Everyone
Access to quality healthcare shouldn’t depend on someone’s ability to pay.
The new center will serve individuals with Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance, as well as those without insurance through affordable self-pay options.
As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), CREOKS is committed to making quality behavioral healthcare available to everyone who needs it.
A Community Effort
The Broken Arrow center represents more than a new CREOKS location. It reflects a collaborative effort to expand access to care throughout the region.
The Open House welcomed several community leaders and special guests, including Senator Christie Gillespie, Broken Arrow Mayor Debra Wimpee, Senator Julie McIntosh, Police Chief Lance Arnold, Steve Dunn, Deputy Superintendent of Broken Arrow Public Schools, and Jack Thorp, Wagoner County District Attorney.
CREOKS also extends a special thank you to Humana for its substantial contribution toward the development of the new facility.
Continuing CREOKS’ Mission Across Oklahoma
CREOKS Health Services has served Oklahoma communities since 1980, providing health, wellness, and social services to adults, adolescents, and children.
With more than 26 outpatient behavioral health locations primarily across eastern Oklahoma, CREOKS offers services ranging from individual and family counseling and substance use treatment to care coordination, housing assistance, crisis intervention, and specialized programs such as equine-assisted therapy at River Trail Ranch.
The new Broken Arrow center builds on that mission by bringing even more comprehensive services directly to the community.
The goal is simple: make it easier for people to get the care they need, when they need it, in one place.
As the center continues its phased opening, CREOKS looks forward to becoming an even greater resource for individuals and families in Broken Arrow and the surrounding region.
