Children Services
Screening
An informal symptoms check to determine an individual’s needs and eligibility. Individuals who are not eligible for treatment services through CREOKS will be referred to an appropriate agency for assistance.
Assessment
A meeting with a mental health professional to determine individual needs, their severity and the services that would best meet those needs.
Individual and Group Counseling
Treatment using face-to-face, one-on-one or group interaction between a mental health professional and the client to promote emotional or psychological change to alleviate issues.
Family Counseling
Face-to-face interaction between a mental health professional and family to facilitate emotional, psychological or behavioral changes and promote successful communication and understanding.
Family Communication Programs
Helping families succeed where there may be one or both parents have problems with alcohol or drugs and a high risk for domestic violence, child abuse or neglect. Teaching family skills to reduce problem behaviors, delinquency and alcohol/drug abuse in children.
Play Therapy
Form of counseling in which play is used as a means of providing children a way to express their experiences and feelings through a natural, self-guided, self-healing process.
Psychiatric Consultation
Comprehensive evaluation of the psychological, biological, medical and social causes of emotional distress. The outcome is a psychiatric diagnosis, treatment plan and medication management, if necessary.
Medication Management (In-clinic)
Our physicians and nurses manage prescribed medications that treat the symptoms of mental health disorders which makes it easier for individuals to focus on the therapeutic aspects of treatment.
Parenting Programs
Family-based education programs structured to improve parenting skills through encouragement, relationship building, active listening, effective communication and problem solving.
Care Coordination
A managed combined care approach to providing the client access to the right medical, behavioral, social, vocational and education services, as well as other supportive services.
Children & Adolescent Crisis Services
Rapid response, short-term crisis management services for children and adolescents who are experiencing a psychiatric emergency.
Substance Abuse Services
Outpatient individual and group counseling and rehabilitation, care coordination and medication management treatment for issues relating to alcohol and substance abuse. In Tulsa and Sapulpa we offer MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment for opioid dependence.
Psychiatric Social Rehabilitation (PSR)
Outpatient individual and group counseling and rehabilitation, care coordination and medication management to assist and promote the client’s successful integration back into the community.
Drug Court, Juvenile Drug Court and Mental Health Court
A structured alternative to incarceration for eligible offenders, where a team comprised of judicial officers, attorneys, law enforcement and treatment providers promote participant accountability through intensive treatment and judicial supervision.
